Is anyone pleased with vista? Thoughts so far

Hi guys,
Just curious what everyone's thoughts are on their experience with vista so far. Please comment on anything you like.
Myself, I am very disappointed. I develop mainly for the web and vista is not exactly the main source of needed technology for a better web experience but it has its potential(sidebar and ie7). The end user experience to me is the most disappointing. I find it really lacking in improving the user interface. I find it less intuitive but in the right direction. I Feel that if MSFT wanted to steal some good ideas(OS X) in developing a better user experience then they should have stole the whole and not a part.
Please let me know what you guys think?

With all due respect this repeats several threads already. Try adding your thoughts to those already started.

Hello I received the Basic version 5384. On my HP m7470n, using a CLEAN INSTALL, it installed, found ALL hardware just fine.
I had to learn the new setup for networking (lay out), it took some time, but found all computers on the network (4) total.
The only trouble I had was with IE7, running JAVA. After turning off the protection mode, it fixed that problem, and d/l the beta 1.6 java.
The only game I had trouble with was EVE. It took some time, reading, and getting into regedit to fix a few items (add) FIXED.
The main things I don't like; 1. Had to use regedit to add the Administrator user (Small problem) 2. A simple way to turn off the safety features in the Administrator logon. 3. A simple way to turn off the safety features in USERS ACCOUNTS.
The new safety features (Good for new computer users, a headache for us old goats that been around since Radio Shack Model 3 and Model 4 days....LOL....
So over all I give Microsoft a (A-)
The tech team at MS and at EA, need a pat on the back.....Well done......
Thanks Jerry P

I think you should preach to OS X fans.

I agree, and by all means pat them. Click on the Feedback icon and use the hyperlink in the first paragraph. The site is aptly named "Sentiments."

Overall, I am enjoying the Vista experiance. Granted I have some issues with different programs and games, but this is a beta. It's nice to be able to report and give feedback to make it even better for RC1. I honestly believe that when Vista is released on the market, it will be a lot better thanks to everyone submitting bug reports and suggestions.
